A London atelier with Kenyan roots — building a new kind of wardrobe, one conscious piece at a time.
KAGO was founded by a Kenyan-born and raised creative whose life has moved between two very different disciplines — the precision of law and the expression of fashion. Trained as a lawyer and working today in financial crime investigations, she brings that same rigour, patience, and eye for detail to the way every KAGO garment is imagined and made.
Fashion was never a departure from that world — it was always the dream running quietly alongside it. KAGO is the realisation of that dream: a label built to create pieces that are unique, sustainable, and inclusive, for people who want to buy consciously rather than constantly.
KAGO exists to deconstruct and disrupt fast fashion. Every piece is designed to be considered, kept, and worn for years — the opposite of the disposable cycle. We produce in limited runs, choose our materials with care, and design for real bodies and real lives.
We are proud to belong to a new wave of African and Kenyan design — a generation of creators redefining what luxury, sustainability, and responsibility look like when they sit together. KAGO carries those roots into every collection, from Nairobi to London and beyond.
Select KAGO pieces are available made to order. For bespoke sizing, private appointments, or press and wholesale enquiries, reach the atelier directly.
Every piece is designed and made by KAGO, produced in limited quantities. When a size sells out, it does not return.
